Keep it fun
The Pot is a game of chance. Most tickets don't win. Only spend money you'd be fine losing, and stop if it stops being fun.
01Before you buy
Set a budget
Decide what a round is worth to you before you open the site, and stick to it. Never use money meant for rent, bills or food.
Know the odds
Your chance is your tickets divided by all tickets. The buy box shows it live. More tickets raise it, but never to a sure thing.
Don't chase
Losing a round doesn't make the next one more likely to win. Every draw starts fresh.
It's entertainment
Treat tickets like a night out, not a way to make money or pay off debt.
02A quick self-check
If you answer yes to any of these, it's a good time for a break:
- Are you spending more than you planned, or more each round?
- Are you buying to win back money you've lost?
- Have you borrowed money, or skipped bills, to buy tickets?
- Do you feel anxious, low or irritable when you're not playing?
- Are you hiding how much you spend from people close to you?
03Take a break
Block your account from buying tickets. Once it's on, it can't be switched off early, not even by us.
Want longer, or to close your account for good? Message support and we'll do it. You can also unsubscribe from reminder emails using the link at the bottom of any of them.
